Well why “buy South African”

Labour and community leaders visited stores in The country to urge the clothing retailers to sign a code of conduct committing the stores to sourcing at least 75 percent of its inventory from South African suppliers.

Said that a local procurement agreement would be great to the country and boost the domestic garment industry and save thousands of jobs.We should be proudly South African and “By South African”.

Why The Fuss?

Most companies are buying the majority of their stock from China. Not only does this destroy jobs in South Africa, but its upsetting to know that they just in it for making more profits than showing concern about the local industry.

Well there is alot more to it….

The local industry needs to up they game so companies don’t need to outsource…..but why outsource?
Outsourcing is increasingly becoming a key business strategy and offers a whole lot more to businesses.
