eSquared Cape Town update
It’s been quite a week at eSquared Cape Town. There have been so many things that we wanted to get going, and we’re working at them as quickly as we can.
First of all, this is probably far more exciting for us, but we installed an electronic gate. So now we can sit the whole day and buzz the gate, regardless of whether people actually are coming in or out.
Shelle also decided to decorate a chalk board we found at the back – and instead of writing on it with chalk, she designed a couple of pages on the computer (NICE ONE – you’re becoming a computer genius – look out for the Shelle Graphic Design Studio opening soon). You can see it in the pic above – it looks pretty kewl.
So now we have a full pavement outside as we’ve got the mannequin’s waving to the traffic decorated each day in a new trendy outfit, we’ve got the ATM sign post waving in the wind, and we’ve got the chalk board. And between all of this, we also have a couple of tables where visitors can enjoy a coffee or coke (yeah, alright, not just a coffee, but a cappuccino using only the finest coffee beans – Illy, or a Macchiato, Espresso – actually i’m not going to go through the whole list!!)
We’re now designing names for each of the T-Shirts and putting little tags underneath them. I’ll put a pic up sometime, but as an example, we’ve got a shirt with a Sumo wrestler balancing on a table, which is on chest of drawers which is on… you get the point – this SUMO wrestler is the master of balance. So our tag for this tShirt is “LOOK…NO HANDS”. Perhaps we should have a competition to find the best captions?
Anway, it’s Friday afternoon, and almost time for the weekend – from all of us at eSquared Cape Town – have a good one!
